About this product
Calendula salve is a gentle yet powerful natural remedy. It’s so thoroughly all-purpose it’s become a catchcry among my family and friends: “Have you tried putting salve on it” is said for everything from eczema and cracked lips to splinters and grazes.
The four-ingredient recipe is deliberately simple: just flowers, two oils and beeswax.
First, I grow calendula flowers organically in my urban Tarntanya / Adelaide permaculture garden. Once picked and dried, I infuse the petals in organic olive oil for at least a month. This calendula-infused oil is then mixed with coconut oil plus a little beeswax from my backyard Warré beehive to create the perfect texture.
This healing plant-powered balm is suitable for all skin types and everyday use:
- Nourishing for dried and chapped skin and lips.
- Calming for eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and other skin irritations.
- Healing for wounds, cuts and bruises.
- Generally makes your skin feel damn awesome and super soft.
I keep a pot handy for just about everything. It’s a beautifully simple balm to support your skin naturally, without any weird chemicals. I hope you’ll love it too.

We love this salve! It’s so gentle, and we love that it’s completely natural. It’s our go-to for our kids for all sorts of things – cracked skin and lips, insect bites, rashes, random itches, scrapes, and itchy bottoms lol. Particularly calming for those red, inflamed and itchy mozzie bites. It’s amazing!

I love that it is local, natural and handmade with love. It is great to support small businesses such as this one.

This salve is so great to use as a hand and body moisturiser, lip balm, and for cuts and scratches (which I get embarrasingly often). I love the cute, compact and recycled tin. It’s great on my sensitive skin with its minimal and all natural ingredients. And yay for buying something from a person and not a huge shop. Win win. Highly recommend this salve. 👌 👏 😁

I absolutely love this salve. Knowing the ingredients are all natural, and locally grown/sourced makes it even better. We use it for everything – skin irritations, mozzie bites, scratches on the kids, and it’s even my lip balm. Such a beautiful, multi-purpose product.

This salve is our family go-to. We use it for everything from aches, burns and insect bites to dry skin as a moisturiser. We wouldn’t be without it. I love that I can trust the ingredients for use on babies and all skin types.

I love that its has no nasties in it. It’s great to use before bed, to rehydrate my lips and hands. The metal tin is super cute and as the salve lasts a long time its nice its not stored in plastic.

Calendula balm is a perfect natural remedy in a pot. So useful in our home and on the farm. From dry itchy elbows, rough cracked hands and dry skin anywhere on the body.
I also have a pot in the milking shed to treat dry cracked teats on the dairy cows.
We call it magic balm.

I was tidying up some roses recently, and, I wouldn’t normally bother with scratches etc, but tried the salve to see what would happen. I was surprised how it stopped or reduced the redness and reduced or eliminated the infection I sometimes get from rose prickles. It also helped with the chapped skin on my thumb from using secateurs in the wet weather.

A true all-natural all-in-one life-saver in a (recycled) tin :) have used this as moisturiser, lip balm, nappy rash salve, put it on dry spots and itchy bites. Is there anything it can’t do? A little goes a long way.
