Hello, I'm Koren.
I’m a Digital Marketing Strategist & Journalist based in Tarntanya / Adelaide.
I believe slow, sustainable and local actions are key to a climate-positive future. I absolutely adore working with Australian businesses and non-profits actively championing this ethos.
In return, I can offer you a bunch of top-notch marketing skills and strategies honed during years writing for national magazines and newspapers, and leading communications for major charities and businesses. My current focus is:
- Consulting on digital marketing for ethical businesses.
- Heading up marketing nationally for Grow It Local.
- Writing a regular gardening column for ABC Everyday.
- Oh, and I host a pretty cute little urban honesty stall, too :)
In my spare time, I’m teaching myself permaculture and biodynamics in the backyard of my small urban home. You can follow along via my permaculture blog and Instagram, if you like.
Interested in working with me?
Awesome! I can help you out with all sorts, from developing complete marketing strategies and crisp brand messaging to fixing outdated websites, auditing social media channels, designing newsletter templates, setting up Google Analytics, creating marketing automations and more.
I’d particularly love to hear from you if you’re in permaculture, sustainability or local food and wine.
Things I love.
Learning to tread ever more lightly on our planet — and inspiring others to do the same.
Helping kind-hearted people doing good thrive by getting their message out to the world.
Growing organic food and infusing permie principles into every area of life and business.
Thrifting, swapping, foraging, skill sharing — anything that steps beyond the monetary economy.
“A thing is right when it tends to preserve integrity, stability and beauty.”
— Aldo Leopold, A Sand Country
